As the college baseball season is underway and spring training for MLB is creeping closer, I wanted to look back at one of my favorite superstitions in this sport. I love superstitions and since it’s Throwback Thursday, I thought we’d look back at this Hall of Famer’s tradition.
I wanted to take a look back at former Houston Astros star and killer bee in Craig Biggio and the story behind his “dirty helmet”. I believe he was the toughest out in baseball when he played and I got nothing, but respect for the guy.
