Looking for a sweep of Southern Miss, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but eventually 15-11 in 11 innings. Cajuns looked like they may win it on a suicide squeeze bunt in the 10th, but Izzy Edwards fouled the bunt foul. Nonetheless, the Cajuns took 2 of 3 from the Golden Eagles.
Louisiana travels to New Orleans on Tuesday to take on Tulane before hosting St. Peters this weekend.
