The Ragin Cajuns basketball squad returned to the Cajundome and bounced back on Wednesday night against Loyola.
The Cajuns dominated throughout holding the Wolfpack to 30 percent from the field and an abysmal 14 percent from three point range.
Shawn Long led the way for the Cajuns with a monster game. The senior forward stuffed the stat sheet with 25 points, 16 boards, two assists, one steal, and one block on the night.
Jay Wright was the only player on the squad that was close to Long’s game with 13 points, three boards, two assists, three steals, and a block.
Loyola was led by Johnny Griffin who racked up 21 points, six boards, and a block.
The Cajuns (2-2) won’t play again until December 3rd when they travel to take on in-state rival UL-Monroe (2-1) with tipoff scheduled for 7 pm.
