As we get closer to the start of the 2018 college football season, there’s more info being released concerning kickoff times for the nonconference slate. There was even more information released on Thursday for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns 2020 season and who they will start the season off against.
Kickoff Times Announced for First Two Games
The Cajuns 2018 season will start off inside the friendly confines of Cajun Field when take on Grambling on September 1st and the kickoff time for that matchup will be at 6 pm. The Cajuns will then make a trip over to Starkville, Mississippi to take on the Bulldogs of Mississippi State with kickoff set for 6:30 pm and will be on the SEC Network’s alternate channel.
Who Will the Cajuns Open Up 2020 With?
Looking a little ahead to the start of the 2020 season, the regular season will get jumpstarted on September 5th at Cajun Field taking on McNeese State. It will be the first time since 2016 that these two teams faced off and the 39th overall meeting since 1951 when both were a part of the Gulf States Conference.
With the addition of the Cowboys, there are now three non-conference games slated for the 2020 season, along with a pair of road trips to New Mexico State (October 24th) and Missouri (November 21st).
