The Ragin Cajuns were given everything Georgia Southern (!7-13, 6-7 SBC) had on Friday night, but were able to pull away in extra innings to win 6-2.
Brad Antchak got things going in the top of the first with an RBI double to go up 1-0 early.
The scoring continued in the top of the fifth with Ishmael Edwards hitting another run across with a single right up the middle.
But Georgia Southern was able to tie things up in the bottom of the fifth after Huggins was thrown out at first and it allowed Baldwin to reach across safely. Rollins got it knotted up when he scored on a wild pitch.
The score remained tied until the top of the 10th when the Cajuns got four across to get win.
Dylan Moore improved to 3-1 on the year throwing one and two thirds shutout innings, striking out two of the four batters he faced.
The Cajuns (20-10, 9-4 SBC) will try to clinch the series on Saturday with first pitch set for 6 pm.
