When it comes to the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns women’s basketball team, Simone Fields has been one of the more consistent performers. That has been recognized for the second time this season as Fields was named Sun Belt Women’s Basketball Player of the Week,
The junior forward is coming off of a great game against Troy where she scored 24 points and went a perfect 10-for-10 from the field this past Saturday. She also had a good performance against South Alabama scoring 14 points.
The Cajuns will return to action this Saturday when they take on the UL Monroe Warhawks with tipoff set for noon.
