The Ragin Cajuns were able to get the job done on Tuesday night behind another stellar performance by Evan Guillory against Tulane (21-11) by the score of 9-2.
Joe Robbins got the Cajuns on the board with a two run shot down the left field line in the bottom of the second. Brian Mills kept the momentum from Sunday going in the bottom of the third inning with an RBI double down the left field line.
Robbins got two more on the board later in the inning with a single of his own to make it 5-0. Mills struck again in the bottom of the fourth with a two run double. The Green Wave finally got on the board in the top of the fifth with an RBI double by Willsey.
But the Cajuns put the nail in the coffin in the bottom of the fifth with a pair of runs.
Guillory improved to 3-3 on the year allowing two runs off of six hits and striking out six batters on the night.
The Cajuns (22-11) will head over to New Orleans to take on the Privateers on Wednesday with first pitch set for 6 pm.
