Delta Media Corporation had a strong showing in the Louisiana Sports Writers Association annual awards contest.
RP3 & Company host Raymond Partsch III and producer Louis Prejean took home second place honors in the Best Sports Talk Show (Solo) category. Bumper to Bumper Sports host Ben Love and producer Clint Domingue meanwhile took home third place honors in the same category.
Five Guys, Stories & Lies hosted earned honorable mention honors in the Best Sports Talk Show (Duo-Group) category. Partsch also took home second place honors in the Best Podcast category for his podcast The Rap Game.
For the second consecutive year, Love and Blaine Viator won first place in the Best Live Broadcast Team category for broadcasting Carencro High School football on Z105.9 FM.
The team of Partsch and Chad Jones earned third place honors for broadcasting Lafayette High football on The Rewind 97.7 FM, while Danny Jones and Sam Heinen earned honorable mention honors for broadcasting St. Thomas More football.
Partsch also took home first place in the Outdoor Writing category for his feature on the impact the state’s first Bassmaster Classic champion has had on a state championship winning fisherman from St. Thomas More.
Clint Domingue received honorable mention in the college/pro photography category for a photo of Trajan Wesley driving to the basket against Southeastern Louisiana.
