It’s kind of strange seeing only one LSU Tiger being put on the preseason watch list for the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award.
Donte Jackson was the sole Tiger to be named to the watch list which was revealed on Friday. The Jim Thorpe Award is presented to the best defensive back in the country.
Jackson is coming off of a strong sophomore campaign where he had 39 total tackles and two interceptions. He is joined by seven other players in the SEC.
