Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns linebacker Jaden Dugger will participate in the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl, the event announced on Tuesday.

The event is the 101st annual this year and showcases some of the top college football players after the season. The event will be held at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.

Dugger finished up his collegiate career with the most productive season he has had. After moving to middle linebacker in the offseason, Dugger emerged as a leader on the Cajuns’ defense. He finished 2025 with a team-leading 118 tackles. He also racked up 11 tackles for loss and three sacks. He added one interception, four pass breakups, and a forced fumble.

Dugger was also selected as a First-Team All Sun Belt honoree after his senior season.

The 6-foot 5-inch defensive standout began his college career at Georgetown. After two seasons with the Hoyas, he transferred to UL and would play his final two seasons with the Cajuns.
