1. Teurlings vs Notre Dame. This game has actually moved over to Rebel Stadium, but it doesn’t change how much fun this game is going to be. It’s the battle of old school and new school with Louisiana Sports Hall of Famer Lewis Cook taking on second-year head coach Dane Charpentier. This is going to be a barnburner of a match-up.
2. St. Thomas More vs Plaquemine. It’s a battle between top 10 opponents in Class 4A according to the LSWA. The Cougars have shown me that they aren’t going anywhere and will be a very tough team to take down. To me, a win here should get the Cougars towards the top of the rankings in 4A.
3. Acadiana vs Carencro. The Wreckin Rams keep popping up on here for a reason and their big win at the buzzer against Ruston was one of those. You can call me a homer and you’d probably be right, but the cross-town rivalry between the two teams is always a fun matchup and you can never 100% determine a winner. If I wasn’t going to be in studio taking care of business, I’d be inside Bill Dotson Stadium seeing these two teams face off, but thankfully, I can listen in over on z 105.9!
