Former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman James Hurst has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, according agent Jack Bechta.
As NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport tweeted, the move adds depth to the Saints offensive line.
Hurst was released by Baltimore on March 16. The 28 year-old lineman had been suspended for the first four games of the upcoming season due to violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances.
The lineman started 44 games over six seasons with the Ravens at both guard and tackle. He played college at North Carolina.
