The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo are getting closer and closer. One name that quite literally jumps off the page is Mondo Duplantis.
The former Lafayette High Mighty Lion and LSU Tiger, fresh off of a pair of world-record jumps in Sweden, made the return back to the heart of Acadiana alongside Brennan Robideaux and spent some time talking with Ben Love on Bumper to Bumper Sports.
Robideaux is busy preparing a documentary three-and-a-half years in the making and mentioned that he has about 700 hours worth of footage he wants to trim down to 120 minutes. That’s all before the Olympic qualifiers and numerous events that Duplantis has planned for the next few months.
It’s all building towards Duplantis participating in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. However, there may be a bit of a roadblock with the threat of coronavirus derailing the Summer Games. Mondo talked about that and more on Bumper to Bumper Sports.
