Jordan Wright is coming back to the Boot.
The Baton Rouge native that has spent the last four years at Vanderbilt is transferring to LSU for his final season of eligibility, he announced via his Twitter page.
Wright averaged 10.6 points per game this past season for the Commodores, leading them to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament and then the semifinals of the NIT. For his career in Nashville, he has scored 1,167 points in four seasons.
Wright will be a welcome sight to Matt McMahon, who will be looking to replenish the offensive firepower being lost with KJ Williams headed to the NBA Draft.
Wright went to Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, graduating in 2019.
