Kansas State designated hitter/infielder Seth Dardar is returning home to Louisiana.
The Mandeville native and Holy Cross product will transfer to LSU, he announced on social media on Sunday after visiting with Jay Johnson.
Dardar hit 13 home runs for the Wildcats this season, along with an OPS of 1.065 while playing 22 games at second base and 15 at first base.
Prior to his time in Manhattan, he spent two seasons at Columbia, where he hit eight homers in his sophomore campaign.
Fans may remember Dardar from the Frisco tournament earlier this season, where he went 2-5 with a home run off of Kade Anderson.
Dardar is the second transfer portal addition for the Omaha-bound Tigers as they added High Point slugger Brayden Simpson two weeks ago.
LSU will need depth in the infield for 2026 as Daniel Dickinson, Jared Jones, and Michael Braswell are all likely departing the program.
LSU’s quest for its eighth national championship begins this weekend in the College World Series from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. All of the action can be heard on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles, your home for the LSU Tigers in Southwest Louisiana.
