One of the all-time greats in the history of LSU football is returning to the program, this time in a coaching role. It was announced on Wednesday that Kevin Faulk has been announced as the Director of Player Development for the LSU Tigers.

“Kevin is one of the all-time LSU greats and to have him in a role to mentor and develop our players is going to be benefit everyone associated with our program,” Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron said. “Our mission is to develop every aspect of a young man’s life while he’s part of our program and Kevin is going to be instrumental in this process.”

Faulk, who is the school’s all-time leading rusher, will work with the student-athletes with the football program on their academic direction, social development and overall quality of life.
