The end of the regular season for college baseball means some superlatives from their respective conferences. When it comes to the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, Gunner Leger headlined the awards with an All-Sun Belt First Team and was named Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year.
The junior has posted an impressive 10-2 record and a 2.03 ERA. Leger’s win total led the Sun Belt in 2017 and fourth in the country.
However, Leger wasn’t the only Cajun to get recognized for their on-field performance. Joe Robbins and Wyatt Marks joined Leger on the All-Sun Belt first team.
Steven Sensley has improved in several facets this season and was named to the second team All-Sun Belt.
