Kitenge began his college career at Sun Belt rival Coastal Carolina before moving to Three Rivers. As a member of the Raiders basketball team, Kitenge averaged 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while scoring double-digit points 20 times. He also grabbed 10 or more rebounds on 10 different occasions last season. His best game was a 23-point, 13-rebound double-double against Missouri State-West Plains.

“Hosana gives us needed size and experience for next season,” said head coach Bob Marlin.  “He has a very good skill set along with a high basketball IQ.  We expect him to pay immediate dividends both on and off the court.”

During his time in Conway with the Chanticleers, the Crawley, England native averaged eight minutes of action with 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds a game.

Louisiana will look to defend its Sun Belt Conference Championship during the 2023-2024 season at the Cajundome.
