The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns have added another scorer via the transfer portal for the 2024-2025 season as coach Bob Marlin has announced the addition of Koron Davis.
“Koron is a talented player who can play multiple positions,” said Marlin. “He can score the ball at all three levels and uses his athleticism to flourish in transition. His length aids him defensively and in rebounding the ball.”
Davis scored 1,082 points in two seasons of junior college basketball at Los Angeles Southwest and Paris Junior College before spending this past season at Louisville. Davis didn’t appear in a game for the Cardinals.
Davis, a 6’7″ guard, averaged 23.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game at LA Southwest, shooting 48% from the field. He finished in double figures in all but one game.
While at Paris JC, he averaged 15.7 points with 6.6 rebounds. He had 10 games of 20+ points, including 33 twice.
Davis joins a roster including new signees Jeremiah Evans, Duncan Powell, Kyndall Davis, Christian Wright, and Mostpaha El Moutaouakkil.
