A little more than 24 hours after having their contest against App State being postponed, one of the big concerns about the schedule for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns has been resolved.
The Cajuns, who were originally going to have a three-week layoff, will now just have to wait until October 10th to take on the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina. Louisiana’s original game date of Saturday, Oct. 17th was moved up one week in order to minimize downtime for both football programs. Kickoff for the contest will be at 11 am.
The matchup against the Chanticleers was originally slated as the homecoming game, but that has been moved to the Saturday, November 7th contest against Arkansas State at Cajun Field
