Louisiana Men’s Basketball Announces Sun Belt Conference Slate

The defending Sun Belt Men’s Basketball champions was revealed on Tuesday with the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns starting out the season at home against Arkansas State on January 3rd.

The Cajuns will then host the Little Rock Trojans (Jan. 5) before traveling to Georgia taking on the Eagles of Georgia State (Jan. 10) and Georgia Southern (Jan. 12), followed by a trip to Monroe to take on in-state rival UL Monroe (Jan. 19).

They’ll then return to the friendly confines of the Cajundome, hosting South Alabama (Jan. 24) and Troy (Jan. 26) before going back out on the road to end the month of January against Appalachian State (Jan. 31) and Coastal Carolina (Feb. 2).

The Cajuns will then have a three-game homestand against Georgia Southern (Feb. 7), Georgia State (Feb. 9), and UL Monroe (Feb. 16). They’ll then make a quick road trip to Texas to take on UT Arlington (Feb. 21) and Texas State (Feb. 23).

The Cajuns home schedule will end with a pair of games against Coastal Carolina (Feb. 28) and Appalachian State (Mar. 2) before wrapping up the season in Arkansas against Little Rock (Mar. 7) and A-State (Mar. 9).
