Not long after the LSU Tigers secured a QB commit for the 2021 class, the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns followed that up with one of their own on Monday afternoon in Zy McDonald.
McDonald is coming off of a great junior campaign where he threw for over 3,200 yards and scored 39 total touchdowns and ran for over 600 yards for the Ridgeland Titans. The Ridgeland, Mississippi native is the first QB to commit to the Cajuns in the 2021 class.
The 5-10, 185-pound signal caller joins a 2021 class for the Cajuns with East Mississippi C.C. linebacker Jasper Williams, who committed over the weekend, and Logansport (La.) cornerback Key’Savalyn Barnes, who committed at the beginning of April.
