The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns agreed to take on Conference USA’s Marshall in the R&L Carrier’s New Orleans Bowl. The game is scheduled for Saturday, December 18th, with kickoff at 8:15 central time.
The contest is Louisiana’s first trip to New Orleans since 2016 and will be their sixth time playing in the Bowl since 2011. This will be the school’s 11th appearance in a bowl game with their official record at 6-2.
The Thundering Herd finished their 2021 regular season campaign at 7-5 and 5-3 in conference play. This will be the first meeting between the two programs.
