The LSU football national championship celebration will be held on Jan. 18 on the university’s campus.

According to lsusports.net, admission is free and they encourage fans to attend the celebration.

A championship parade begins at 11 a.m. at LSU’s school of music and the celebration will go through the school’s campus. The parade ends at Tiger Stadium’s west side via Victory Hill.

The celebration is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. outside Tiger Stadium’s west side.

In addition to free admission, there will be free parking around LSU’s campus. Concession stands with food and beverages will be available in Lot 101.

There will also be live music at the celebration. Before the parade, Parish County Line will perform live just outside of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The LSU Tigers defeated Clemson 42-25 in the national championship game. The win secured the program’s fourth national title. LSU previously won the national championship in 1958, 2003 and 2007. They ended their season with a 15-0 overall record.

LSU was led by Heisman winner Joe Burrow. The Tigers quarterback accounted for all six touchdowns in the title game. Burrow threw for five touchdowns and recorded a rushing touchdown to cap off LSU’s perfect season.
