LSU Day Three Draft Tracker: Tigers Tie All-Time Record

Posted by clintdomingue on April 25, 2020 in Blogs, Latest News, LSU Tigers

After setting a program record with ten LSU Tigers drafted at the end of day two of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bayou Bengals reached the finish line tied for the all-time record of 14 players tying with the 2004 Ohio State Buckeyes draft class.

Saadihq Charles, No. 108, Washington Redskins

The day three action for LSU began with an offensive lineman in Saadihq Charles. Charles, who primarily spent time at left tackle in his three years, was a key part of the offensive line that won the 2019 Joe Moore Award.

Rashard Lawrence, No. 131, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals bolstered their defensive line with Lawrence in the fourth round. The former Neville Tiger recorded 28 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in his senior season with LSU.

Blake Ferguson No. 185 Miami Dolphins

The Ferguson household might be a little divided this fall with sons Blake and Reid being part of the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills respectively. Blake had handled every long snap since his redshirt freshman season in 2016.

Stephen Sullivan, No. 251, Seattle Seahawks

After Ferguson was drafted in the sixth round, it wasn’t until late in the seventh round when Sullivan was drafted by Pete Carrol and the Seattle Seahawks. The Donaldsonville native saw action at both tight end and wide receiver in his senior season and recorded 12 receptions for 130 yards.
