The LSU Tigers have dismissed offensive coordinator Joe Sloan, the football program announced on Monday.
The move comes one day after head coach Brian Kelly was fired. Frank Wilson will become the interim coach for the remainder of the 2025 season.
On Saturday, LSU fell 49-25 at home to Texas A&M, marking their third loss of the season.
The offense had struggled this year under Sloan, specifically in the running game. They were barely over 100 rush yards per game, and their 25.5 points per game also represents a decline from previous seasons.
After the loss, the Tigers fell out of the AP Top 25, where they had previously been ranked in each week of the season.
LSU is on a bye this week before traveling to face Alabama next Saturday.
