LSU Eunice baseball will play seven contests over the next two months across the state as the Bengals release their fall schedule, it was announced on Wednesday.
The fall slate concludes with the annual Fall World Series, beginning on Wednesday, October 26.
After a scheduled intrasquad scrimmage on Friday, September 9, LSUE will face off against Tyler Junior College on Friday, September 16 on the campus of Northwestern State University.
The Bengals will play at five different campuses of four-year institutions during the fall season. The highlight of the fall will be the Elite Fall JUCO Classic on Saturday, October 1st. LSUE will play a doubleheader starting at 1:00 PM against Coastal Alabama-North and Delgado from Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field on the campus of LSU.
“We are very excited about the fall schedule and being about to showcase our young men across this great state,” LSU Eunice baseball head coach Jeff Willis said. “The competition will be second to none as we look to begin to shape the identity of our ball club.”
Other dates this fall include South Arkansas CC at ULM on Friday, September 23, at Louisiana Christian on October 7, and Panola College at Louisiana Tech on October 20. The Bengals will host LSU Alexandria on the Cajun Prairie on Friday, October 14.
LSU Eunice will enter its 21st season under the guidance of head coach Jeff Willis. The Bengals will feature returning All-Region pitcher Patrick Vienne and three regular starters from last year’s 40-17 club.
