After what looked like a lackadaisical performance from LSU on Tuesday, the LSU Tigers looked to be getting back into the swing of things with an 88-80 win over Texas Southern.
The Tigers got out to a solid start, but much like against North Carolina Central, Texas Southern was let into the game, taking a brief lead with 14 minutes remaining in the first half. LSU would fired back with a big run late in the first half to take a double digit lead into the locker room.
Texas Southern started out strong getting the lead back about midway through the second half. However, LSU was able to get the lead back with five minutes remaining to get their seventh win of the season.
The Tigers (7-2) will stay inside the PMAC to take on the Charleston Cougars (8-3) with tipoff set for 7 pm.
