The LSU Tigers have re-entered the D1Baseball Top 25, coming in as the #24 team in the country.

The ranking comes after another SEC series victory, this time two of three on the road against the Tennessee Volunteers.

After winning the series opener on Friday, LSU dropped the middle game of the series on Saturday. They then played a wild series finale. The lead changed hands multiple times, and LSU tied things up late. Then, in extra innings, the Tigers put up 10 runs including a grand slam from Cade Arrambide, his fourth homer of the contest. LSU would hold on to win 16-6 and clinch the series.

With the series victory, LSU’s record moves to 22-11 overall, and they rejoin the rankings after dropping out a few weeks ago.
