The LSU Tigers are heading to Biloxi, Mississippi for a Fall Ball game.
The Tigers will face the Samford Bulldogs as part of the Hancock Whitney Classic inside Keesler Federal Park on Sunday, November 3rd at 11:00 AM.
Keesler Federal Park is the home of the Biloxi Shuckers, the AA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Hancock Whitney Classic is an event designed to showcase some of college baseball’s biggest stars in a Minor League ballpark.
“Hancock Whitney is honored to join with the Biloxi Shuckers in bringing the Hancock Whitney College Classic to South Mississippi,” Hancock Whitney Mississippi Gulf Coast President Brent Fairley said. “This exciting series spotlights some of college baseball’s finest athletes at a marquee event that creates opportunities for fans to cheer their favorite teams and players while further strengthening Coastal Mississippi’s vibrant economy and deep sense of community.”
The Tigers and Bulldogs will play in three seven inning scrimmages, totaling 21 innings of play in the event.
The Tigers are coming off of a 43-23 record with a loss in the Chapel Hill Regional Final in 2024. That was on the heels of a National Championship win in 2023, and they have made 12 straight NCAA Regional appearances including every year of Jay Johnson’s tenure.
The Bulldogs of Samford finished 36-22 last season and made the SoCon Championship game.
LSU’s 2025 season will get going in February of next year.
