The LSU Tigers dropped to No. 22 in the second College Football Playoff Rankings, while the Tulane Green Wave made their debut.
LSU (6-3) sits at No. 22 in the College Football Playoff Selection Committee Rankings which were released on Tuesday night. The Tigers are one of eight teams from the Southeastern Conference in the rankings.
Tulane (8-2) cracked the rankings for the first time this season as the Green Wave debut at No. 25.
Oregon (10-0) is ranked No. 1 for the second straight week, followed by Ohio State (8-1) at No. 2, Texas (8-1) at No. 3, Penn State (8-1) at No. 4 and Indiana (10-0) landing at No. 5.
The rest of the Top 10 is BYU (9-0) at No. 6, Tennessee (8-1) at No. 7, Notre Dame (8-1) at No. 8, Miami (9-1) at No. 9 and Alabama (7-2) coming in at No. 10.
Ole Miss (8-2) is the first team outside of the Top 10 as the Rebels sit at No. 11, while Georgia (7-2) is at No. 12 — a week after being ranked No. 3, and Boise State (8-1) landing at No. 13 as the highest-ranked team from the Group of Five.
The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (8-1) did not crack the second week of the playoff rankings.
