Storylines
Battle of Strong Offenses
These two teams have a solid offense with LSU hitting .305 as a team and Vanderbilt hitting .298. The big difference between these two teams has to be Zach Watson, who has been going off in the last two games, hitting .619 in the last five ballgames. If he can keep rolling, the rest of this offense will likely follow suit.
Friday Will Set the Tone
If there’s one game that could decide the series is tonight’s ballgame and it will be due to the two pitchers on the mound. You’ve got Zack Hess, who’s turned it around after a difficult start to the season against Notre Dame and the undefeated Drake Fellows. Expect to see some a low scoring ballgame and that will set the tone for a fun weekend ahead between the two teams
