Bruce Feldman, senior college football reporter and columnist for FOXSports.com, says an expected improvement in LSU quarterback play and high-profile opponents this season mean running back Leonard Fournette is well-positioned for a run at the Heisman Trophy in 2015.
Fournette, among the Tigers headed to SEC Media Days next week, reported for spring camp in March announcing that he was “faster and more lean” and determined to have a break-out season in 2015.
After watching him in spring camp, LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron declared Fournette “the most improved player on our offense.”
