The second day of the MLB Draft was filled with anticipation to see if any LSU players would be drafted. However, there was only one to be picked on Tuesday afternoon and that was redshirt sophomore Nick Bush.
The Georgia native was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the eighth round with the 246th overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft. Bush was 1-1 this season with a 3.40 ERA in 19 relief appearances and five starts.
Bush got the start last Friday in the Corvallis Regional Opener against San Diego State, allowing three runs off of four hits.
