McCormick batted .636 with seven runs, three home runs, five RBI, three walks, and a 2.188 OPS. Saturday’s game saw the Astros centerfielder record the first four-run game of his career, becoming the first Houston Astros player to record four runs in a game since Jose Altuve on September 27, 2022.

This is the first AL Player of the Week award for the Houston Astros since Yordan Alvarez in September 2022.

The Houston Astros are currently at 52-42, three games back of the Texas Rangers in the American League West. Houston begins a midweek series with the Colorado Rockies tomorrow, with first pitch at 7:40 p.m. CT from Coors Field.
