The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, who were picked by the coaches to win the Sun Belt’s West Division, only got one player tabbed on the Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference team in Dylan Moore.
The senior already holds the record in the Sun Belt for career saves with 38 in three years with the program. Just last season, Moore notched 11 saves and held opponents to a .159 batting average.
“I think it’s a great honor to be chosen one of the best in the conference by the coaches in our league,” head coach Tony Robichaux said about the honor. “Dylan has worked hard to get to where he is, and throughout his career he has stepped up for us in big moments. This is just another example of baseball paying someone back for their hard work and effort.”
Louisiana’s season will start on the road against the Texas Longhorns on February 16th with first pitch set for 6:30 pm.
