After trying for almost 36 hours, I was not able to confirm Penn State Defensive Coordinator Brent Pry was becoming the Ragin’ Cajuns new Head Football Coach. However, I was still confident that was the case when I went to bed around 9:30p Thursday night.
Friday morning I woke up to numerous text messages and tweets that Arizona State Offensive Coordinator Billy Napier had reportedly been offered the Cajuns job opening. The interesting part to me was ‘offered’ and not ‘accepted’.
Basically no confirmation for a day and half regarding Pry, but reports from Phoenix about Napier in less than three hours? Can’t image those leaks came from the UL side/Dr. Maggard.
