New Orleans Saints Re-Sign Patrick Omameh

Posted by clintdomingue on May 14, 2020 in Blogs, Latest News, New Orleans Saints

After being relatively quiet the last few days on the transaction wire, the Saints brought back a familiar face to bolster depth on the offensive line on Thursday.

Guard/tackle Patrick Omameh is returning to the team after being a key cog for the Saints offensive line last season.

Omameh was originally signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2013 out of the University of Michigan. He then signed with New Orleans at the start of training camp in 2019 and appeared in 14 regular-season games with his one start in the Saints’ Thanksgiving night win at Atlanta at left tackle and also playing the position in two other contests.

The contract details have not been announced at this time
