Only six picks after teammate Logan Stoelke was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Nick Lee was picked by the Tampa Bay Rays with the 270th selection.
Lee’s career with the Cajuns saw him register a 16-12 record with three saves in 51 appearances. The 2018 season saw him have an up-and-down year, but impressed scouts enough to get picked in the first ten rounds, capping off a busy second day of the MLB Draft.
