One of the biggest issues for the New Orleans Pelicans the last couple of seasons has been health. The Pelicans took another hit with the organization announcing on Tuesday that guard Tony Allen will be out for three-to-four weeks.
The Pelicans announced that the 6’4″ guard has been diagnosed with a non-displaced left proximal fibula fracture. The 14-year veteran has appeared in 22 games for the Pelicans this season and has averaged 4.7 points and 2.1 boards per game.
The Pelicans will return to action on Wednesday when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks with tipoff at 7 pm.
