Considering the fact that the New Orleans Pelicans (43-31) have played four games in five nights, it was kind of expected that the bottom would drop out. That’s exactly what happened on Saturday with James Harden helping the Rockets come away with a 114-91 victory.
Key to Loss: Rockets Incredible Start
Things got out of hand right out of the gate for the Pelicans with the Rockets controlling the first quarter, getting out to a 12-4 lead within the first four minutes of the ballgame. Houston made it 21-6 with 4:48 left in the first, but the Pelicans were able to cut the lead down to 13 at the end of the quarter.
