The New Orleans Pelicans roster is almost complete.
The Pelicans signed forward Wenyen Gabriel and guard Sindarius Thornwell to veteran minimum deals on Monday.
New Orleans have 14 of 15 roster spots filled after the recent signings. According to Christian Clark of nola.com, the team will remain with 14 players at this time.
Thornwell returns to the Pelicans after playing for them in the NBA restart. He spent two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers The 26 year-old guard/forward averaged 8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in his two appearances with New Orleans.
Gabriel played two seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats. The 6’9 power forward went undrafted in 2018. Gabriel has played in 30 NBA games, 11 with the Sacramento Kings and 19 with the Portland TrailBlazers.
These signings come after New Orleans signed 6’11 center Willy Hernangomez on Sunday.
