One of the Pelicans’ top players during summer league play is apparently headed to Sacramento.
According to an ESPN report Tuesday night, guard Seth Curry was finalizing a 2-year deal with the Sacramento Kings.
Seth’s older brother, reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Steph Curry, tweeted about the deal later Tuesday night.
“Let’s goooooo!,” Seth Curry tweeted. “He’s been patient and worked so hard to get here. (Seth) got his Foot in the door now it’s time to go! Love you bro!”
Curry averaged a tournament-best 24.7 points in summer league play in Las Vegas and was named first-team all-summer league for his performance.
The former Duke star caught the eye of all the coaches, scouts and general managers in Vegas.
