Aaron Nola’s debut with the Philadelphia Phillies was good, but didn’t end the way that he wanted it to.
Nola pitched six innings of fantastic baseball allowing only one run off of five hits and struck out six batters in the process.
The sole run scored in the matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays was a home run from the opposing pitcher Nathan Karms in the top of the third inning.
Karms was credited with the win, improving to 5-5 on the season, allowing three hits and striking out four in five innings of work.
