Storylines
Sunday Shakeup?
For the last couple of weekends, the Cajuns rotation has been Schmidt, Harris, and Burk. However, it seems like there’s a shakeup on the horizon in the series finale as it is listed as to be announced. It’s all dependent on how the bullpen looks after Saturday as they’re up against a high-powered offense that has averaged around eight runs per game. If the pen has to be unloaded in either of the first two games, Burk will likely get the nod.
Bullpen Key for Cajuns
Last weekend could have been a series sweep against Georgia State. The Cajuns started out strong in the first game of the series, but a meltdown late in the ballgame cost them in an extra innings loss. If they want to move up in the standings with only a few weeks left in the regular season, the bullpen will need to be on point against this team.
