It wasn’t pretty, but the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (4-1) put it all together in the second half and rolling to a 61-56 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
How It Happened:
The Cajuns struggled early in the contest, trailing 11-3 in the opening moments. However, Cedric Russell came alive and a pair of threes gave them a 17-16 lead. The Bulldogs took the lead back quickly and ended the first half on a 19-4 run, heading into the break with a 35-21 lead.
The second half began with a bucket from former Lafayette Christian Academy player Kalob Ledoux making it a 16-point deficit. The Cajuns put up a 13-point run later in the second half to reclaim the lead. The two teams exchanged the lead multiple times but Mylik Wilson gave the Cajuns the lead for good after a free throw with 5:10 left in regulation.
