The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, LSU Tigers and McNeese Cowgirls all earned NCAA Regional berths on Sunday.
Louisiana is headed to South Carolina for the Clemson Regional.
Clemson is the regional host-top seed and joining Louisiana in the Clemson Regional are Auburn and University of North Carolina Wilmington.
No. 3 seed Louisiana (45-11) will take on No. 2 seed Auburn (39-15) on Friday. First pitch set for 1:30 p.m. No. 1 seed Clemson (39-15) will play No. 4 UNCW (32-13) in the other game.
LSU is packing its bags and heading out west for the Tempe Regional.
Arizona State is the regional host-top seed and joining LSU in the Tempe Regional are San Diego State and Cal State Fullerton.
No. 2 seed LSU (34-21) will take on No. 3 seed San Diego State (37-14) on Friday. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. No. 1 seed Arizona State (39-9) will play No. 4 Cal State Fullerton (36-20) in the other game.
It is the 23rd NCAA Regional for LSU and 16th consecutive.
McNeese meanwhile is headed to outside of Chicago for the Evanston Regional.
Northwestern is the regional host-top seed and the two other teams are Notre Dame and Oakland.
No. 3 seed McNeese (38-19) will take on No. 2 seed Notre Dame (39-10) on Friday. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m. No. 1 seed Northwestern (40-10) will also take on No. 4 seed Oakland (26-15) in the other game.
