The 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans is set to begin on Thursday morning at TPC Louisiana in Avondale with a field that includes last week’s RBC Heritage winner Matt Fitzpatrick.
The tournament, which serves as the PGA Tour’s only team event, is played in two-man teams and alternates between Four-Ball (Best Ball) and Foursomes (Alternate Shot). Thursday and Saturday will see Four-Ball used while Friday and Sunday’s final round will feature the Foursomes format.
This year’s tournament features a $9,500,000 total purse with 400 FedEx Cup points on the line.
The Englishman Fitzpatrick is fresh off of his fourth career PGA Tour win, defeating Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. He has once again teamed up with his brother Alex Fitzpatrick, and the two will take on the Zurich together.
Other notable duos include Brooks Koepka & Shane Lowry, Aaron Rai & Sahith Theegala, Tony Finau & Max Greyserman, and defending champions Ben Griffin & Andrew Novak.
