Naz Reid was an absolute monster all season long on both sides of the ball and was honored for his efforts in his freshman campaign on Wednesday.
LSU’s star forward was named to the 2019 Collegeinsider.com Kyle Macy Freshmen All-America team, one of three players from the SEC on the list including Kentucky’s Tyler Herro and Ashton Hagans.
Reid averaged 13.6 points per game and led the team with 7.2 boards per game. The Asbury Park, New Jersey native started in 32 of the 34 games he played in and earned All-SEC Freshman honors and was an integral part of the Tigers going 28-7 and winning the SEC regular-season title.
