The LSU Tigers continued to dominate through the SEC Tournament on Saturday afternoon. For the second consecutive game, they didn’t need to play a full nine innings as they run-ruled South Carolina by the score of 11-0.
Kramer Robertson led things off for the Tigers when he sent the third pitch he saw out of the Hoover Met to take the early lead. Greg Deichmann followed suit later in the inning with a two-run shot that just touched the glove of centerfielder TJ Hopkins.
The Tigers continued the onslaught in the second when Cole Freeman hit an RBI single to right field followed by him scoring off of a wild pitch, making it 5-0.
The Tigers began to pile it on in the third with a six run inning highlighted by a pair of triples from Zach Watson and Robertson and a solo shot from Greg Deichmann.
Jared Poche earned his 10th win of the season allowing only two hits, walked two and struck out two in six innings of work.
